We are pleased about your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about how we handle your data.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the access. These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site as well as improving our offer. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer within the framework of a balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. All access data are deleted at the latest one month after the end of your site visit.

 Hosting

The services for hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our service providers within the scope of processing on our behalf. Unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy, all access data as well as all data collected in the forms provided on this website are processed on their servers. If you have questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us via the contact option described in this privacy policy.

2. Data processing for contract fulfillment and for contacting us

2.1 Data processing for contract fulfillment

For the purpose of contract processing (including inquiries about and handling of any existing warranty and performance disruption claims as well as any statutory update obligations) pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we collect personal data if you voluntarily provide them to us as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we necessarily require the data for contract processing and cannot send the order without their provision. Which data are collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

Further information on the processing of your data, in particular on the transfer to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment and shipping processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After complete fulfillment of the contract, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the statutory tax and commercial retention periods pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

 Data transfer for age verification

If your order includes goods subject to age restrictions, we ensure by using a reliable procedure including a personal identity and age check that the purchaser has reached the required minimum age. For this purpose, the SCHUFA Identity Check is used on our website. This service is operated by SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden, Germany (hereinafter: SCHUFA).
To ensure the required minimum age, certain personal data (e.g. name, address and date of birth) will be transmitted to SCHUFA Holding AG. An identity check with Q-Bit is then carried out, which has been positively assessed by the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM) for age verification. The transmission of data to SCHUFA serves, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in ensuring an offering that complies with youth protection law as well as compliance with statutory provisions on the protection of minors. A credit check does not take place in this regard.

2.2 Customer account

If you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR by deciding to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening the customer account and storing your data for future orders on our website. You can delete your customer account at any time, either by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account. After deleting your customer account, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

2.3 Contacting us

As part of customer communication, we collect personal data to process your inquiries pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR when you voluntarily provide them to us when contacting us (e.g. via contact form, live chat tool or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we necessarily require the data to process your contact request. Which data are collected can be seen from the respective input forms. After your inquiry has been fully processed, your data will be deleted unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

 Live chat tool Userlike

For customer communication we use the live chat tool of Userlike UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Probsteigasse 44-46, 50670 Cologne, Germany (“Userlike”). This serves to safeguard our overriding legitimate interests in effective and improved customer communication pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Userlike acts for us as a processor.

3. Data processing for shipping purposes

For contract fulfillment pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. If you have questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us via the contact option described in this privacy policy.

The same applies to the transfer of data to our manufacturers or wholesalers in cases where they handle the shipment for us (drop shipping). These are considered shipping service providers within the meaning of this privacy policy.

Transfer of data to shipping service providers for shipment notification

If you have given us your express consent during or after your order, we will pass on your email address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider on the basis of this consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, so that they can contact you prior to delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.
You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address listed below. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.
